Welcome to Smile Orthodontics! American Board of Orthodontics Certified orthodontists, Dr. Thomas T. Taylor and Dr. Steven P. Hearne, want to help you achieve the smile of your dreams! In both of our offices, conveniently located in Suffolk, Virginia, all of our patients are treated like family. Our professional, caring, friendly and fun team will make you feel right at home!

In order to achieve this ideal, we have teamed with the Suffolk Public Schools, Bennett's Creek Little League, YMCA, Oasis Ministry, Suffolk Humane Society, Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters (CHKD), For Kids: Helping Homeless, Z104 FM "Stuff the Bus," Bon Securs, Birthday Brigade Foster Program, Bunticonti Fund for Spinal Research as well as many other events and organizations over the years. Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Thomas T. Taylor completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree and majored in biology and political science with a minor in chemistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. Dr. Taylor completed his orthodontic residency at The Ohio State University, where he also received a Master’s of Science degree.

Dr. Taylor is American Board of Orthodontics Certified and has received many awards throughout his academic career by completing extensive research resulting in numerous publications in a variety of dental and orthodontic journals. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association, as well as many of the dental organizations.
